Our Story
New Hope Ministries began with a powerful testimony of God’s grace. Pastor Prabhudas was born prematurely and in critical condition. Through the devoted prayers of his mother, Lilly, God miraculously healed him and gave a promise that his life would be set apart for His service.
That promise became the foundation of a lifelong calling.
At the age of sixteen, Prabhudas gave his life to Jesus. After graduating from Bible college in 1988, he stepped into full-time ministry. He began by visiting homes, praying for the sick, and bringing the message of God’s love to the brokenhearted.
In 1990, he and his wife Ruth were called to serve a small village church with just fifteen believers. Those early days were filled with challenges, but through prayer, fasting, and faith, God moved powerfully. Revival came. People were baptized, and the church grew to over one thousand members.
Seeing the deep spiritual hunger in nearby villages, Pastor Prabhudas began to train leaders, start home fellowships, and plant churches. In 2007, the ministry was renamed New Hope Ministries to reflect its vision of bringing God’s hope to communities often overlooked and unreached.
Our Impact
Over 310 churches have been planted in both rural and urban areas across India.
More than 1,000 leaders have been trained for ministry and discipleship.
Over 200,000 lives have been transformed through the message of the Gospel.
More than 2 million people have been reached through outreach, evangelism, and healing efforts.
Our programs support orphan care, education, women’s empowerment, and rural medical missions.
What began as one family’s step of faith has grown into a ministry that touches thousands every year. Through church planting, leadership development, compassionate outreach, and care for children, we are seeing lives renewed and hope restored in some of the most spiritually and economically challenged areas.
Our Purpose
Our purpose is to share the Gospel, make disciples, and build God’s Kingdom among the most unreached, poor, and brokenhearted communities in South India. We remain committed to reaching every heart with the love and truth of Jesus Christ.
