Dear Friends,
Greetings from India!
On behalf of New Hope Ministries, we wish you a very happy and blessed New Year. As we step into this new season, our hearts overflow with gratitude. God graciously protected us throughout this last year allowing us to enter this new year with thankful hearts and singing His praises. We give glory to God, thanking
Him for blessing us with each one of you, our faithful prayer partners and generous supporters. We are eternally grateful to you for standing with us to fulfill God’s vision in our nation.
During the Christmas season, God enabled our pastors and teams to conduct several outreach programs. It was a great privilege for us to invite many friends and clearly share the wonderful truth of the birth of our Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ. We rejoice that the Good News of hope, light, and salvation was boldly proclaimed.
God providentially protected our ministry and allowed us to celebrate Christmas peacefully. However, it is with a heavy heart we report in several other cities and states in our nation extremist groups attacked Christians celebrating Christmas. Many were physically beaten; church decorations were destroyed. Just as the spirit of Pharaoh tried to destroy the first Christmas, the same spirit manifested again as the enemy attempted to cause fear among Christian families in an attempt to steal the joy of Christmas. All praise to God and His Holy Spirit who protected His people, delivered them from threats, and preserved their lives.
It was a blessing to witness the joyful and wholehearted celebration of Christmas by the children residing in our Children’s Home. The children worshiped our Savior with songs of praise, beautiful skits, and dances. Through the love and support of their sponsors, they received Christmas gifts and new clothes, enjoyed a special festive meal, and shared precious moments together. The joy on their
faces truly reflected the happiness in their hearts. They lovingly convey their heartfelt thanks to all their sponsors. Thank you for making such a lasting difference in their lives.
We also had a blessed Christmas celebration with our school staff. For the first time, we were given an opportunity to share clearly about the birth of Jesus Christ and the full gospel message, as many of our teachers come from non-Christian backgrounds. We are grateful for every opportunity God gives us to share His love and the gospel of Jesus Christ with our neighbors, staff, and friends, remembering the words of Jesus that not even one soul should perish.
By God’s grace, and through your faithful support throughout 2024, we were able to reach :
Adults through gospel outreaches
Young adults through youth meetings
Children through children’s festivals and Sunday School
Thousands of poor patients through mega medical camps, providing free medicines
Many elderly men and women through cataract surgeries, restoring their vision
Through these ministries, we have been able to demonstrate the love of God and expand His Kingdom in our nation for His glory. All of this is possible only because of God’s grace and the faithful seeds sown by our prayer and financial partners. Without your support, this life-transforming work would not be possible. Thank you for touching the lives of the poor, the needy, and the children. As Jesus said,
“Whatever you did for one of the least of these, you did for Me.”
On the night of December 31st, more than 2,000 people gathered in our church to thank the Lord for His blessings throughout the year. Nearly 120 believers shared powerful testimonies of God’s faithfulness. On New Year’s Day, we gathered with relatives and friends for a special worship service, followed by a fellowship love feast on our New Hope campus. Sharing testimonies and a meal together strengthened our bonds and filled our hearts with joy and unity.
We thank God for always meeting our needs at the right time and for answering our prayers. We are deeply grateful to all our faithful supporters, and we continuously pray for you, your families, businesses, ministries, and especially for your nation.
As we enter this new year, we humbly request you to continue standing with us. Together, let us build the Kingdom of God for His glory. May the Lord bless you abundantly throughout this year. We thank God for His faithfulness.
