New Hope Ministries – India Newsletter

Dear Friends in Christ,
Warm greetings to you from India, in the precious name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!
By the abundant grace of God and through your faithful prayers, Ruth and I have returned safely home after our fruitful visit to the United States. After a short time of rest, we have joyfully resumed our ministry work. We are deeply grateful for your love, hospitality, and continued intercession during our journey. “The Lord will keep your going out and your coming in from this time forth and forevermore.” – Psalm 121:8
Here in India, the rainy season has begun. Our local farmers are busy planting seeds—rice, chilies, cotton, lentils, and groundnuts—trusting God for a bountiful harvest. As the land receives new life, so do we witness the seeds of hope and transformation being sown in the hearts of our children.
Children’s Home Update: Our children have returned from their summer break, filled with excitement for the new academic year. While some were able to spend time with extended family, many came back early due to difficult conditions at home, where food and proper care are lack
ing. We praise God for the New Hope Children’s Home, which continues to be a refuge and blessing for these precious children. Here, they are nurtured physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Through quality education at New Hope High School, they are growing in wisdom, stature, and godly character. “Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.” – Proverbs 22:6
New Hope High School: The new academic year has begun with some challenges, yet God has been faithful. Recently, a dear sister in Christ from the U.S., a professional teacher, visited us for three days. She lovingly taught our 8th to 10th-grade students’ English pronunciation and communication skills. She also conducted an orientation session for our teachers, imparting new teaching techniques and encouragement.
This was a divine blessing, especially since most of our children come from uneducated and illiterate family backgrounds. Her visit brought a fresh wave of inspiration, and we thank God for using her to sow seeds of learning and confidence among our children and staff.
Dormitory and Construction Updates: After 15 long years, we were finally able to remove the old asbestos roofing from the boy’s dormitory and construct a new concrete roof. The work is nearly complete, and the boys will soon move in with renewed joy and safety. Praise be to God!
Additionally, by God’s grace and your generous support, we have completed the roof for the first floor of the new ministry building in one of our mission villages. The believers are eagerly preparing to use this space for worship and are praying for revival across nearby communities. “Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labor in vain.” – Psalm 127:1
“They shall be called oaks of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.” Isaiah 61:3
Dear friends, none of this would be possible without your sacrificial giving, love, and prayers. Your partnership is making an eternal impact in young lives and advancing the Kingdom of God in India.
