New Hope Ministries – India Newsletter Dear Friends,
Greetings from India!
By the grace of our faithful God, my wife Ruth and I arrived safely back in India after our visit to America. We thank the Lord for His protection throughout our journey. On behalf of our entire New Hope family, we also wish all of our dear American friends a joyful 250th Independence Day. We thank God for His abundant grace upon your nation and pray that He will continue to bless America.
“Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever. ”Psalm 136:1
Our hearts are overflowing with thanksgiving for the wonderful time God gave us with our children, grandchildren, brothers, and sisters. We were also greatly blessed to spend precious time with our spiritual family. Everywhere we traveled, we experienced the love of Christ through your kindness, hospitality, prayers, and generous care. You welcomed us into your homes, shared meals with us,
encouraged our hearts, and stood with us in prayer. We spent many precious hours sharing testimonies, worshiping the Lord together, praying together, and seeking God’s direction for the expansion of His Kingdom. We returned to India with grateful hearts, deeply encouraged by your love and friendship. Thank you for being such a precious part of our lives and ministry.
Here in India, the hot summer season has ended, and God has blessed us with the beginning of the rainy season. We praise the Lord for protecting all of our New Hope family throughout the summer and for bringing us safely into another season of His faithfulness. His mercies are truly new every morning.
We are delighted to share that our pastors, evangelists, and disciples were able to conduct many Gospel outreaches during the summer months. By the grace of God, many precious souls heard the Good News, repented of their sins, and accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Savior. There is no greater joy than seeing people delivered from the kingdom of darkness into the glorious Kingdom of our Lord Jesus Christ. Every soul that comes to Christ reminds us why God has called us to this ministry.
“He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love.” Colossians 1:13
The Lord has called us to preach the Gospel throughout India, plant churches where there is no witness, care for widows, orphans, and the poor, serve people with compassion, pray and intercede for those who are suffering, and train the next generation to become faithful disciples of Jesus Christ. Although persecution continues to increase in many places, God has never failed us. He strengthens us to endure every trial, gives us courage to stand firm for His Name, and continues to open new doors for His ministry. Every victory belongs to Him alone.
Dear friends, this ministry could never continue without your faithful prayers, sacrificial giving, and loving partnership. Every church planted, every child educated, every widow cared for, every soul saved, and every life transformed is also a fruit of your investment in God’s Kingdom. Thank you for standing with us year after year. We consider you our co-workers in Christ.
We are also happy to inform you that our schools have reopened for the new academic year. Hundreds of children have returned with excitement to meet new teachers, new classmates, and begin another season of learning. At the same time, our Sunday School ministry has become very active as many children gather to hear God’s Word, learn Bible stories, worship together, and understand God’s
wonderful purpose for their lives. Please pray that these young boys and girls will grow into faithful servants of Jesus Christ who will shine as lights in this generation.
In the coming months, we are praying that God will send some of our ministry partners to India to conduct leadership and pastors’ seminars. Our desire is to strengthen pastors and church leaders so they can remain faithful during these difficult times of persecution. We are also planning medical camps and other community outreach ministries so that we may demonstrate the love of Christ
through both the preaching of the Gospel and practical acts of compassion.
The Lord is also opening doors for several new ministry projects that will bring glory to His Name and help us reach many more people with the Gospel. We humbly ask you to continue remembering us in your prayers and, as the Lord leads you, to continue supporting this ministry financially. Together, we can build God’s Kingdom, proclaim the love of Jesus, and bring hope to many who have never heard His wonderful Name.
Thank you once again for your love, faithful prayers, friendship, and generous support. We pray that our Heavenly Father will richly bless you, your family, your church, and your business. May He fill your hearts with His peace, strengthen your faith, and use each one of us for His glory until He comes.
