“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” Galatians 6:9 Dear Friends,
Greetings from India in the precious name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! By the grace of God, with the guidance of the Holy Spirit, and through your faithful prayers and financial support, New Hope Ministries continues to move forward in fulfilling the vision God has given us to expand His Kingdom and serve the people of our nation with the love of Christ. It is truly a privilege for us to be part of His divine work.
The seasons are passing rapidly, and it seems that summer has already arrived. As the school year progresses towards the end of the academic year, our students at New Hope High School are now preparing for their examinations so they can advance to higher classes. We thank God for how the school continues to impact the lives of children in our community.
As you may know, many of these children come from poor, uneducated families. However, through education, discipline, and Christ-centered moral instruction, we witness tremendous transformation in their lives. Our students are developing good values and moral character, and we believe they will become responsible citizens and the future leaders of our nation. Your support is helping change not only individual lives but an entire generation. We thank God for how our school continues to impact the lives of children in our community.
Our school continues to grow as the Lord blesses our efforts to improve the lives of these children. Recently He blessed us with a new school bus through generous supporters. We are now able to transport poor children from surrounding villages to the school, giving them the opportunity to receive godly education to equip them for a better future. By God’s grace, and your support, we continue to improve the school facilities. Construction work is progressing on :
A drinking water tank
A water tank for fire safety
Two additional classrooms to accommodate growing student needs
All of these projects are possible because of your prayers, generosity, and partnership in God’s mission. Your love and sacrifice are helping us serve the next generation and demonstrate the true compassion of Christ. “Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain.” Psalm 127:1
We recently conducted a Pastors and Leaders Seminar for approximately 200 pastors and ministry leaders. Some dear friends from abroad joined us to teach and encourage our leaders. It was a powerful time of learning from God’s Word, sharing testimonies, worshiping together, and strengthening one another in faith. Many of these pastors serve in challenging areas, and such gatherings encourage them to stand firm in the midst of difficulties and persecution. “And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together… but encouraging one another.” Hebrews 10:24–25
God also opened the door for us to conduct a Free Medical Camp, principally for the poor suffering with eye maladies. With the help of friends from abroad and dedicated local doctors, technicians, nurses, and volunteers, we were able to serve more than 2,000 patients.
Over 1500 people received free eyeglasses (single vision and bifocal)
More than 120 cataract surgeries were performed
Free medicines and medical tests were provided
Meals were served to more than 1500 patients
Most of these patients are elderly and very impoverished. Many suffered for years because they could not afford treatment. Through the service and love shown by those putting on the camp, many have regained their eyesight and received new hope for their future. Another blessing is that we were able to use our school buses to transport patients to hospitals for surgery and bring them safely back to their
homes. “The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me… He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted and to give sight to the blind.” Luke 4:18. We praise God for allowing us to show His love and compassion to those who are suffering.
Many other ministry projects are also progressing as we continue to expand God’s work and reach unreached communities with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. None of this would be possible without your prayers, encouragement, and generous support. Your partnership enables us to bring education, healing, hope, and the message of Christ to thousands of people. “Whoever sows generously will also reap generously.” 2 Corinthians 9:6
