New Hope Ministries – India Newsletter

Dear Friends,

Greetings from India in the precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ! We thank our faithful God, who continues to guide us each day by the Holy Spirit to fulfill His divine purposes for our nation. While it may still be spring where you are, here in India we are already experiencing extreme heat. Although summer usually begins in May, this year it began in early April. The peak daytime temperatures have already reached 45°C (113oF) with the forecast calling for higher temperatures in the coming weeks. We humbly request your prayers for God’s protection, strength, and grace upon us during this difficult season.

We are happy to share the excellent results many of our students achieved during their year-end examinations. Nearly half of the 10th class students scored 96% or higher, with the rest of the class scoring in the high 80’s! These superlative results will ensure that many will qualify for scholarships for their higher education. We are especially encouraged to see that many of our children are achieving first and second ranks in their classes. We sincerely thank you for your prayers and faithful support, which are making a lasting difference in their lives.

We are very proud to announce that for the first time, New Hope High School conducted a Kindergarten Graduation Ceremony. This was a very special and historic event, as no other schools in our region have had a ceremony for kindergarteners. The children were filled with joy

as they wore graduation gowns and received their certificates. They performed beautiful songs on stage, and their faces were glowing.

Many parents attended, and this event had a meaningful impact in our community as it is emblematic of the continuing growth and development of our school.

We are also blessed to share that our dear friend Peter from America attended this special occasion along with his sister. Peter has been a close family friend for over five decades and first visited India in 1986, during the early days of our ministry. After 40 years, God graciously brought him back to witness the fruit of the seeds that were sownmany years ago. As he visited the school and ministry, he was deeply moved and gave glory to God, rejoicing to see how God’s presence is continuing from one generation to the next.

Another joyful and blessed update is that God has enabled us to dedicate a new Church building in one of our village fields this year. Our pastors and leaders, along with the village mayor and local leaders attended the dedication service. We witnessed the powerful presence of God as many new people attended, heard the Word, and glorified Him together with us. It was truly a time of celebration and thanksgiving.

On behalf of New Hope Ministries, we express our heartfelt gratitude to each one of you. Your prayers, sacrificial giving, and loving support are the pillars that strengthen this ministry. Our hearts are filled with joy as we see God fulfilling His plans from generation to generation. His Kingdom is everlasting, His plans are eternal, and His grace is unchanging.
