New Hope Ministries – India Newsletter
Dear Friends,
Greetings from India in the precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ!
By God’s great mercy and goodness, we have been abundantly blessed through these ten months of the year. Truly, “The Lord has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy” (Psalm 126:3). His hand has protected us,
His Spirit has guided us, and His grace has blessed the work of our hands.
We thank God for each one of you, our faithful prayer and financial partners, who have stood with us in fulfilling His divine purpose of expanding His kingdom in our nation. Your love, faith, and generosity continue to bear fruit that will last for eternity. As the Word says, “For we are God’s fellow workers; you are God’s field, God’s building” (1 Corinthians 3:9).
Every day of this year we have witnessed the Lord’s faithfulness in all areas of our mission. He has led us in each project, supplied every need, and surrounded us with wonderful friends from America. Together, we have been able to visit many of our branch churches, encouraging pastors, their families, and congregations. We prayed, worshipped, and rejoiced in the Lord’s marvelous works.
By His grace, we recently conducted a Pastors’ Seminar with more than 200 pastors and several women attending. It was a blessed time of spiritual renewal through the Word of God, powerful testimonies, and the fellowship of believers. “Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another” (Proverbs 27:17).
Even though the enemy continues to attack, bringing many trials and persecution, the Holy Spirit is giving us new strength and divine strategies to reach the unreached with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We continue to equip pastors and leaders through training and seminars so they may stand firm in faith and courage during these testing times. Together, we will continue to press forward to fulfill the mission God has entrusted to us.
In addition to our ministerial work, our faithful partners have allowed us to begin the Drinking Water Project at New Hope High School, a vital blessing for our poor children. These children are growing spiritually, physically, and academically upon a firm foundation of faith and hope. We thank God for shaping these young lives to become responsible citizens of India and
ambassadors for Christ.
In preparation for the upcoming Christmas Holiday and celebration, the children are excitedly preparing skits and songs to celebrate the birth of our Savior. In the spirit of celebrating the birth of our Lord and Savior, we humbly request that you would pray about blessing these children with a set of new
clothes and gifts to serve as a physical manifestation of God’s love. For many of these children, this is the one time during the year where they will receive a new set of clothes. Your generosity and sharing of this need with your friends will be immensely appreciated.
This year we witnessed God provide for the construction of several new church buildings. Cramped homes, temporary structures and dilapidated buildings have been replaced by beautiful testaments of God’s goodness, and people from many villages are now able to gather together to joyfully worship the Living God. The light of Christ is shining in places once covered in darkness, and His name is being glorified.
We are deeply grateful for your prayers, love, and sacrificial giving. Because of your faithfulness, the word of God continues to expand in India. As Paul reminds us, “Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain” (1 Corinthians 15:58).
We continually lift you, your families, churches, and ministries in our daily prayers. May the Lord bless you with His favor, strength, and peace in the coming year. Let us continue to stand together to build His kingdom, not for our glory, but for His alone.
“Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit, says the Lord of hosts.” Zec 4:6
