New Hope Ministries – India Newsletter
“The Lord has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy.” Psalm 126:3
Greetings in the Precious Name of our Lord Jesus Christ! Beloved
brothers and sisters, greetings from India!
We here at New Hope India are praying for your families, your churches, your businesses, and for your nation. We thank God for the privilege of standing together with you in faith and mission. By the grace of God, our spiritual, social, educational, and economic ministries are going forward under the leadership of the Holy Spirit, bolstered by the prayer support of all our faithful partners.
We were deeply saddened to hear of the devastating floods in Texas. Many lives were lost, homes destroyed, and families displaced. Our hearts grieve with you, and we humbled ourselves before God in prayer for all those affected. Similarly, here in India, we too have experienced heavy flooding for the past three weeks. Many homes have been submerged, trees have fallen on houses, and several lives were lost. In
the midst of this, New Hope is reaching out to those affected, praying, comforting, and helping physically, morally, and financially.
Jesus reminded us: “In this world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33). Though creation groans and the people of the world face many disasters, we see clearly the signs of the second coming of Jesus Christ. Therefore, let us prepare
ourselves and lead many others to prepare for His soon return.
The children at New Hope High School are growing in wisdom, education, and moral values. They are being shaped into good citizens with strong character. Recently, they celebrated Nutrition Day and
Independence Day with joy and learning.
Our students achieved high marks in their exams, and we encouraged them with gifts and financial support for higher studies.
We also invited government officials, including police officers, to speak to our children about the importance of moral values and staying away from drugs and destructive habits.
As Proverbs 22:6 reminds us: “Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.”
Some children are currently suffering fevers due to the rainy season. Please pray for their healing and for God’s protection over their health.
Ruth and I, along with our senior leaders, have been busy traveling to visit our branch churches. We encouraged young pastors, conducted small outreaches, and fellowshipped with and exhorted the flock of God to draw nearer to our Savior. In spite of persecution and opposition, the Word of God is bearing fruit. As the Apostle Paul declared: “The word of God is not bound!” (2 Timothy 2:9). No earthly power can stop the eternal Kingdom of Christ.
We are also praying, planning, and preparing to conduct a Young Adults Meeting for more than 1,000 young people this month. We eagerly desire to see the manifestation of the power of the Holy Spirit in their lives. We humbly request that you pray for the young adults, that they may surrender their lives to Jesus and live as a living testimony of Christ
We are so thankful for each of you your prayers, encouragement, and financial support are the pillars upholding this ministry. Without your partnership, we could not continue this work for the Kingdom of God. Together, we are fulfilling the words of Jesus: “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations…” (Matthew 28:19).
Ruth and I, along with all of New Hope, pray daily for you and your families. Please continue to uphold us in prayer as we press forward to glorify the Lord in India.
