New Hope Ministries – India Newsletter Dear Friends and Prayer Partners,
Greetings from India in the precious name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! By God’s abundant grace your faithful prayers, all our ministries and projects are doing well. From the depths of my heart, I thank God for each one of you. It is our great honor and blessing to share how the Lord is working through this ministry, a flourishing ministry into which you have faithfully sowed your prayers, love, and financial support to honor His Kingdom.
On August 15th, India celebrated its 80th Independence Day. We thanked God for protecting our nation and giving us freedom. This occasion filled my heart with gratitude because God called us to serve Him in this generation. What a privilege it is that our Almighty and living God has chosen us to preach the Gospel and fulfill His purposes in our nation.
The children of our school and Children’s Home joyfully participated in our Independence Day celebration. They performed a flag-raising ceremony and presented meaningful skits honoring the sacrifices of our freedom fighters. In addition to celebrating our nation’s independence, we taught the children about the ultimate freedom conferred on us by Jesus Christ: freedom from the bondage of sin and Satan. We taught them that true freedom is found in Christ alone. Many children come from families that have been denied upward mobility for generations due to the lack of education and generational poverty. But your love and support provides these children with an excellent education and an opportunity to know the one true God. We not only educate their minds, but we shape their character with strong moral values, so that one day they may become responsible, compassionate, and productive citizens of our country. “We will tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the Lord, His power, and the wonders He has done.” Psalm 78:4
In addition to celebrating our independence, God gave us a wonderful opportunity to conduct a special Children’s Festival, and nearly 1,000 children participated! Approximately 100 volunteers from our Headquarters Church came with joyful hearts to serve these precious children. The festival began at 9:00 in the morning and continued until 5:00 in the evening. Throughout the day, the children learned new action songs, heard inspiring missionary stories, and participated in spiritual activities, Bible lessons, games, and craft activities.
It brought so much joy to my soul to see these little children listening, learning, singing, and worshipping the Lord. We provided snacks twice during the day and also served them lunch. By God’s grace, everything went beautifully. Throughout the day, we could truly feel the hand and presence of God upon the children.Many of them experienced God in a new and personal way. Some of their hearts were deeply touched, and we believe that seeds of faith were planted that will continue to grow for many years to come. Many parents expressed their appreciation and thanked us for conducting such a
meaningful program for their children and for helping them learn more about the living God.
Jesus Himself showed how precious children are to His heart: “Let the little children come to Me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” Matthew 19:14 When I look at these children, my heart is deeply moved. Every child is precious in the sight of God, and every child has a God-given purpose. My soul rejoices that the Lord entrusted us with the responsibility of guiding this new generation toward Jesus Christ. These children are the future of our nation, and our prayer is that they will grow up knowing the Lord, loving Him, and becoming the light of Christ wherever God places them.
You may be thousands of miles away, but spiritually you are standing beside us in every classroom, every children’s meeting, every Gospel outreach, and every life that is being touched for Jesus. Every seed you sow into this ministry is helping us reach another child, another family, and another generation for Christ. We never take your love and generosity for granted. Ruth and I, along with our ministry family, remember all of you continually in our prayers. We pray for you, your families, your children, your businesses, your ministries, and everything God has entrusted into your hands. May the
Lord reward your faithfulness and multiply every seed you have sown into His Kingdom.
We are in our rainy season and I have a Special Prayer Request. Because of change in the weather and our water supply, many children fall ill. At present, some of the children in our Children’s Home are suffering viral fevers. Our staff members lovingly and faithfully care for each of them. I humbly request you to please remember these precious children in your prayers. Please pray that our Lord Jesus will stretch out His healing hand upon them, restore their health completely, and protect all the other children from falling ill. We believe that Jesus Christ is still our healer, and we trust Him for their complete recovery. Once again, from the depths of my heart and soul, thank you for standing with us. You are not simply supporters of this ministry; you are our partners in the work of the Gospel. Every child who hears about Jesus, every person whose life is changed, every pastor who is strengthened, and every soul that comes to Christ becomes part of the eternal fruit of our partnership together. Our desire is very simple: as long as God gives us breath, strength, and opportunity, we want to faithfully serve Him, reach the unreached, strengthen His people, and lead the next generation to Jesus Christ. May the Lord richly bless you, your family, your health, your work, and your ministry. May His presence always remain in your home, and may His grace and favor follow you all the days of your life.
